WHY KATE BUILT THIS
We live in a predator-prey world. Most parents prefer not to see it.
Your child is already editing themselves. Slowly from a thousand small corrections, they have learned that their raw unedited thinking is not quite good enough. The voice gets quieter. The confidence erodes. The ideas stay inside.
A mother seal does not petition the orca. She teaches her pup to swim so well the orca cannot catch it.
Kate could not change the system. So she built something the system cannot silence.
A child who knows their voice is remarkable, before the world teaches them to doubt it, is a child who can lead themselves through whatever comes next.
That is what StoryQuest builds. Not literacy. Not compliance. Self-leadership, from the inside out.

Kate built StoryQuest under the harshest conditions: one hour a week, under court order, drawing on twenty years of clinical training in the one skill that actually matters, listening without correcting.
For over two years she fought through a heartbreak most people will never understand. In that darkness, her son Gabriel stood beside her. He never gave up on her, and he never believed she had abandoned him.
Together, they turned pain into purpose.
